Outdoor Nets for Juniors
This season's net sessions for the junior members will take place every Thursday evening at 6PM at the Bersham Ground.

An evening with Graeme"Foxy" Fowler

	Ex England and Lancashire cricketer Graeme Fowler will be guest of honour at this years sportsman's evening held on Friday 26th March 2010. Venue : Centenary Club, Wrexham Many thanks to all that attended to make it a very enjoyable evening.

Race Night
The club are holding a race night on Friday 22nd January 2010 at Bersham Social Club. Start time = 7.30pm.

We are currently looking for race and horse sponsors.

Senior Nets
Net practice takes place every Monday evening at Ruabon Sports Centre between 6pm and 7pm.

You must be over 16 years old to attend due to Wrexham Council's rules, as the club must have a coach at level 2 standard for anyone under the age of 16.

More information to follow regarding junior nets. The club have applied to have 2 level 2 coaches later in the year.

Annual General Meeting (12 Oct 09)

Many Thanks goes to Charlie Williams, who has decided to stand down as secretary of Bersham Cricket Club. Charlie has been secretary for many years has done a superb job and the committee wish to thank him for his hard work. Steve Kreczman did not want to be considered as the Junior Representative - thanks also go to Steve, Danny Williams has taken on this role. Steve Williams and Michelle Walker have also joined the committee.

First XI finish 5th - September 2009

Chairman Joe Evans was delighted with the performance of the first XI who finished in a very respectable 5th place.


2nd XI gain promotion - September 2009

The second XI finished the 2009 season as runners up in Division Five and gained promotion to Division Four.
Our congratulations go to Gresford Cricket Club who finished as league winners.



Development XI finish top - September 2009

The development XI finished the 2009 season top of the league - another excellent achievement - well done to all concerned.

Les Tunnah Cup
The finals day has been rescheduled for Sunday 20th September 2009.

Presidents Day
President Lloyd FitzHugh has arranged his for his select XI to play at Bersham on Saturday 19th September 2009.

Les Tunnah Cup
The Les Tunnah Competition Semi's and Final was postponed this morning (19th July) due to bad weather.

Steve Williams, Gareth Williams and Rob Ellis arrived at the ground before 9am and found that the covers had not worked due to excess water running across the square and after a valiant effort we were unable to offer the pitch to the clubs, even the artificial wicket was rejected due to the water-log of the remainder of the square.

At 11.30 the players and club captains decided to request a def-ferment and the alternative date in September seems to be the result. Probably the week after our Presidents day.

Joanne and Jane and Darren had started the BBQ and a few of the visiting players enjoyed the food.

Luis Wantling had called early with the BBQ food and a vote of thanks went to him and the family for their support.

It was also good of our chairman and his wife to take time off on their Wedding Anniversary to be present and help with the proceedings.

Les Tunnah Cup
Bersham have been drawn away to Gwersyllt in the 1st round of the Les Tunnah Cup.
The tie is to be played on Tuesday 26th May.

Nets Practice
Nets practice will move outdoors to Bersham's Ground
from Monday 6th April 2009.
6pm to 8pm
Cost per session = £2 (Adults) and £1 (Juniors)

Help with the Tea Rota
The club have to provide tea's for each home game during the season. (11x first team and 9x second team)
If you are able to assist with the tea's (even for just one game) it would be much appreciated.
